I love seeing other people's shelves, too! That's just one section of one bookcase. There are a couple of others, too.

Let’s look for some facts about electricity demand due to cryptocurrency and AI. Is it possible to moderate power demand? Utilities are responsible for providing power, but is it possible to restrict demand?

Ohhh! I loved Remarkably Bright Creatures, too! It was so good. I haven't heard of Fragment but will add it to my list.

I sat in on a webinar a couple of weeks ago, and one of the panelists talked about AI specifically. Her comments were really interesting—essentially she said that yes, AI uses a lot of energy, so we just need to generate more because the benefits are so important.

The idea of restricting demand is interesting. I'll look for programs that come at the problem from that direction.
